Digital Artist Joshua Warren AKA J. Warren Joins Optimus Entertainment

Joshua Warren, better known as J. Warren, is a dynamic artist that truly personifies gospel music at its best. Joshua was born on October 13, 1984 and raised in Miami, FL. Joshua was brought up in a Christian home, where his parents were both Pastors. “We are a Bible based family!” Joshua says. Nothing was tolerated that was contrary to the Word of God. Joshua was taught to put and keep God first at all times. Joshua’s upbringing is one of the main reasons he is a man of God today.
Joshua has graduated with his degree in Engineering from Miami-Dade College. His studies are directed to Sound Engineering/ Creative Production/ and Technical Engineering. Also, Joshua is expanding his knowledge in the Word of God, by attending Faith Christian Center (Jacksonville) Bible Training Center which is under the supervision of Bishop George and Pastor April Davis (Senior Pastors of Faith Christian Center.) Joshua has been around music for the last seven years of his life. His talent became evident and was developed by the Spirit of God at Triumph Ministries, in Miami, under the advisement of Pastor Warren. Joshua was the praise and worship leader there for seven years prior to his move to Jacksonville. Personal trials are what brought Joshua to music. In 2001, Joshua was dealing with the pain of being cut from his high school baseball team because of his faith. God gave Joshua music to help him express the way he felt. At the age of 15 Joshua taught himself how to play the piano in a matter of days. Out of his struggle his first album “Closer” was birthed. Now at the age of 23, Joshua has completed his new Praise and Worship album.

The intense thought that goes into every measure, every beat and every note is what completely separates Joshua from any other. Wanting to make something more than a song, more than just a pretty melody but rather a master piece causes Joshua to engineer, produce and compose on another level. In his own words, Joshua says, “music has to be able to touch an individual’s heart. Music must allow that person that is listening to feel uplifted, and encouraged, so they can find the strength within themselves to make it to the next day.”

Joshua wants the world to know, that music is for everyone, especially worship. In Joshua’s own words, “Worship is for the more mature man and woman, worship is for the younger man and woman, and worship is for the youth and the young children as well. There is no separation of music when it comes to worshipping God.” His goal is Matthew 28:19-20. “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you.” Winning souls to Christ is all that matters to this singer, song writer.

Digital Artist Antione (Malachi) Paige Joins Optimus Entertainment

Antione (Malachi) Paige, a native of the well-known Chicago area, Henry Horner housing project, grew up in a large close knit family of 13. His mother a single parent, homemaker, revolutionary, and singer took on the role of father and mentor. Young Antione attended talent shows and local music functions with his mom and family. During that time living in a 4 bedroom housing project as a young boy Malachi witnesed first hand the inner city blues. "My brother used to go down town Chicago and break dance to make money and sometimes the change he made feed the family". Being the 7th child wasn't easy for Malachi he watched as his family went through harder and rougher times. "My sister was shot in the leg, my oldest brother was gang bangin in and out of jail and my oldest sister went to prostitution to support a bad drug habit. I didn’t’ understand why those things were happing then but my mom comforted me with love and music and it just stuck with me, that’s how I relieve the pain".

He started performing for his family and friends at block parties and such performances helped to start his career. Malachi, then known as Lo-Twon, gained recognition as a performer and rapper thus winning talent shows and music seminars all across Chicago.

Lotwon released his first EP, "Wicked Leaf", which took the #5 slot, on Chicago rap station 106 JAMS (106.3 FM). He later released hit song "Hold On", which took the #1 slot, on WGCI's (107.5 FM) Home Jam. "Hold On" received great reviews from industry heavy weights such as Ronald Isley, Terry Lewis, Angela Winbush, and The Chi-Lites.

Lotwon was given the name Malachi by a friend due to his metaphorical lyrics and solemn messages that he gave in his songs. Malachi later teamed up with his brother K-eezy, long time friends Killermanjaro, Jah-Rista and Endeavor to form the group "Mercenaries". This group caught the eye of the newly founded company Nu World Records.

The Mercenaries were known to have one of the most exciting and electrifying stage shows in the game. The 1st album "Battle Cry" catapulted them into the main-stream, a move that landed them a distribution deal with Ichiban Records, of Atlanta, GA. This venture led then to a 55-city tour throughout the Midwest, South, and Southeast.

Shortly after the tour, Malachi received a request from Marshall Thomas, of the Chi-Lites, to remake his hit song "Hold On" for their album released in 2000. This joint venture with the Chi-Lites gave Malachi a greater appreciation of his own creative talents and production skills. This also encouraged Malachi to co-produce various song on his solo album "A Sheep Amongst Wolves" and co-produce more than half the songs on Mercenaries 2nd album "The Legacy".

Malachi release his self-produced sophomore album entitled "The 2nd Coming", which had a balance of party tunes, ghetto-losophy, and soulful messages about "hood" uplift-ment.

Malachi has successfully demonstrated his skill as an artist & producer and along with his business mind he is ready to take his talents to the next level.

Digital Artist Evangelist Loretta Ann Hearne -Thames Joins Optimus Entertainment

Evangelist Loretta A. Thames was born in Gary, Indiana to Robert and Annie Hearne.
Loretta began her singing career at the young age five at the Logan Park Assembly of Christ. At seven years of age, her family moved their membership to Miracle Temple COGIC under the pastorate of Elder Chester E. Simmons. There she turned her life over to the Lord at the age of 15, where she received the Holy Ghost during one of the choir’s famous “Saturday night musicals”.

Evangelist Thames has been working diligently in the Lord continuing her love for singing and worshipping the Lord.

In 1989 she was bestowed the great honor of being appointed by the late Bishop Milton L. Hall, the position of Jurisdictional Minister of Music for the First Jurisdiction of Indiana.

We present to you her first recording entitled “God Will”.

Sister Loretta is a former singer of Ricky Dillard and New G, she has sung under the direction of Dr. Mattie Moss Clark, and has performed on the same stage as gospel greats such as: the late James Cleveland, the Clark Sisters, Shirley Caesar, Donnie MC Clurkin, Donald Lawrence, Professor Iris Stevenson and the International Church of God In Christ choir and was invited to be the psalmist for Bishop Noel Jones in a Baltimore, MD conference, only to name a few. She is a very loving and giving person. She is always trying to help wherever help is needed and that attitude has gotten her where she is today.
